There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Adana ASKI (7-17) won against 11th ranked Edirne (8-16) in Mersin 60-55. The best player for the winners was Croatian-American guard Shavonte Zellous (178-86, college: Pittsburgh) who scored 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Erlana Larkins (185-86, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Adana ASKI's coach Kaan Artun allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Stefanie Dolson (196-92, college: Connecticut) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds and her fellow American import point guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Adana ASKI maintains thirteenth position with 7-17 record. Edirne at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Adana ASKI's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Mersin to the arena Mersin.
