Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Porto: Dragon Force (#5) and Vasco (#6). Dragon Force (6-7) won against visiting Vasco (4-10) 85-80. Vasco was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Vasco 50-29 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dragon Force brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Vasco was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nuno Sa (197-97) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Pedro Oliveira (179-97) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Point guard Miguel Toreia (180-93) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Angolan forward Paulo Ferreira (187-80) scored 19 points. Four Dragon Force and five Vasco players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dragon Force moved-up to fourth place in Places 1-8, which they share with Benfica B. Vasco at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Sangalhos and Angra. Dragon Force will play against league's leader Illiabum in Ilhavo in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vasco will play on the road against Sangalhos (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
