Very expected game in Samsun where 14th ranked Orduspor (4-21) was crushed by seventh ranked Canik Bld (12-13) 122-50 on Wednesday. Canik Bld outrebounded Orduspor 61-19 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Orduspor's players. Power forward Nazli Gokdemir (191-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and international swingman Burcu Cigil (182-90) chipped in 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Canik Bld players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Ferda Yildiz (183-93, agency: LBM Management) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and Eda Kartal (-97) scored 8 points. Canik Bld moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Istanbul Univ. Orduspor lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games.
