Round 10 in NBL means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Haskovo where host Haskovo 2012 (13-3) crushed league's leader Montana 2003 (12-4) 88-68 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Montana 2003. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 50-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Montana 2003's 28. Haskovo 2012 forced 20 Montana 2003 turnovers. Mali forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American guard Lia Galdeira (180, college: Washington St.) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Four Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. American Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville, agency: Gamble Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and American-Trinidad and Tobago forward Kellindra Zackery (184-88, college: Newman, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Haskovo 2012 have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Montana 2003 at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Haskovo 2012.
