Regular Season Round 25: Fenerbahce - Abdullah Gul 96-61

KBSL top team - Fenerbahce (21-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Abdullah Gul (16-9) in Istanbul 96-61. Fenerbahce shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Marissa Coleman (185-87, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists. Belarusian center Anastasiya Veremeenko (194-87) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Georgios Dikeoulakos felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Greek forward Zoi Dimitrakou (188-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and international center Esra Ural (198-91, agency: LBM Management) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Abdullah Gul. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-4 record. Abdullah Gul at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Fenerbahce's next round opponent will be Istanbul Uni (#6) in Istanbul which should be theoretically another easy game. Abdullah Gul will play at home against Edirne and hope to win that game.
