Regular Season Round 20: Triglav - Grosuplje 68-80

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Triglav (12-8) against fifth ranked Grosuplje (13-8) on Friday night. Host Triglav was defeated by Grosuplje in Kranj 80-68. The game was mostly controlled by Grosuplje. Triglav was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Zan Jerman (186-92) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Luka Nemanic (-92) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Aleksander Vojicic (188-87) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Grosuplje moved-up to third place. Triglav at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sezana. Grosuplje will play against league's second-placed Branik in Maribor in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Triglav will play on the road against Crnomelj and hopes to get back on the winning track.
