Second Stage Round 13: Kondicioner - ONMU-Vimar 85-86 OT

Kondicioner (#5) forced the game against ONMU-Vimar (#2) into an overtime, but lost by one point 85-86 on Saturday night. The game took place in Kharkov. But the guests from Odessa were better at the end. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 14-7. But Kondicioner won second period 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Kondicioner used huge pressure winning it 22-20 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 10-11. ONMU-Vimar dominated on the defensive end, holding Kondicioner to just 7 points in first quarter. ONMU-Vimar had a 37-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kondicioner was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Lithuanian forward Julia Gladchenko (184-77) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and center Anastasia Usova (185-90) chipped in 25 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side guard Marta Sedelnikova (173-86) responded with 25 points and 7 assists and guard Olga Kaltchenko (175-86) scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kondicioner players scored in double figures. ONMU-Vimar maintains second place with 3-3 record having fifteen points less than leader Interkhim, which they share with SDYUSHOR-4 and SDYUSHOR-5. Kondicioner lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. ONMU-Vimar will have a break next round. Kondicioner will play on the road against the league's second-placed SDYUSHOR-4 (#2) in Mykolaiv and hope to win that game.
