Rather expected game when 9th ranked Nevezis (8-23) was smashed on the road by sixth ranked Siauliai (14-17) 112-90 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Siauliai. Nevezis managed to win third quarter 31-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Siauliai shot 61.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. Siauliai looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Even 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by center Mindaugas Kupsas (217-91, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Nevezis. Ukrainian forward Oleksandr Kolchenko (194-88) added 17 points for lost side. Five Siauliai and four Nevezis players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
