Second Stage Round 7: Mladost - Igokea 56-89

An interesting game for Igokea (7-0) which played road game in Mrkonjic Grad against their biggest opponent Mladost (4-3). Leader Igokea had an easy win 89-56. The game without a history. Igokea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mladost's 24. They outrebounded Mladost 39-17 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Igokea players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Drasko Albijanic (211-86, agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian forward Danilo Sibalic (204-88, agency: Beo Basket) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Igokea players scored in double figures. Igokea's coach Dragan Bajic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Serbian Marko Jeremic (192-91) responded with 11 points and Serbian guard Vojin Svilar (187-86, college: W.Georgia, agency: BeoExcell) scored 12 points. Defending champion maintains first place in I with 7-0 record. Mladost at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Igokea will play against Kakanj (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mladost will play against Siroki Primorka in Siroki Brijeg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
