The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Chaika's (7-6) home victory over 6th ranked Suzirja (2-11) 90-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Chaika led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Suzirja's 28. Chaika forced 24 Suzirja turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Suzirja's players. International center Olga Yatskovets (183-97) stepped up and scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and Anastasiya Polovynka (180-96) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Chaika players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Elena Bondar (165-91) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Yana Holubosh (179-96) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Chaika maintains fifth place with 7-6 record. Suzirja lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
