The game in Lviv was also quite interesting. Third ranked SDYUSHOR-4 (6-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Politekhnika (3-10). SDYUSHOR-4 did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 85-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by SDYUSHOR-4. Politekhnika was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Anna Chechetkina (180-95) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Nika Korinna (170-96) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four SDYUSHOR-4 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Anastasia Franchuk who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Irina Maksimenko (168-97) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. SDYUSHOR-4 maintains third place with 6-4 record having nine points less than leader Interkhim. Politekhnika lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. SDYUSHOR-4 will face league's second-placed SDYUSHOR-5 in Dnipropetrovsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
