Regular Season Round 21: Crnomelj - Triglav 79-80

Important game to mention about took place in Crnomelj. Fifth ranked Triglav (13-8) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Crnomelj (9-11) 80-79 on Saturday evening. Crnomelj was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 28-19 charge of Triglav, which allowed them to win the game. Crnomelj was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Aleksander Vojicic (188-87) nailed 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Tjaz Rotar (-94) accounted for 19 points. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Guard Crt Ristic (180-89) came up with 29 points and 7 assists and guard Matic Lozar (183-92) added 5 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for Crnomelj in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Triglav moved-up to third place, which they share with Sezana. Crnomelj at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Triglav will play against league's second-placed Branik in Maribor in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Crnomelj will play on the road against Plama Pur (#6) in Ilirska Bistrica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
