Regular Season Round 32: Final Genclik - Tofas 69-100

TBL top team - Tofas (29-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Final Genclik (11-21) in Bursa 100-69. The game without a history. Tofas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Final Genclik's 30. Tofas forced 20 Final Genclik turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Final Genclik's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) who added 14 points during the contest. American guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St.) responded with 11 points and power forward Polat Kocaoglu (205-79, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tofas maintains first position with 29-3 record. Final Genclik lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 21 games lost. Tofas will play against bottom-ranked Adanaspor (#18) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Final Genclik will play against Afyon in Afyonkarahisar and hopes to get back on the winning track.
