UMMC cruised past Sparta&K to sweep the semifinal series. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 20. UMMC Ekaterinburg forced 23 Spartak Vidnoye turnovers. Italian-American Diana Taurasi (182-82, college: Connecticut) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Slovakian-American point guard Kristi Toliver (170-87, college: Maryland) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. International center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) responded with 6 points and 13 rebounds and international power forward Raisa Musina (191-98) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
