Neuchatel overcame Massagno on the road and sealed their semifinal appearance. Neuchatel made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and American power forward James Mathis (200-84, college: Niagara, agency: Court Side) who added 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-91, college: Texas Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Quinton Day (185-84, college: UMKC) scored 27 points. Four Massagno players scored in double figures.
