Regular Season Round 33: Tofas - Adanaspor 119-67

TBL top team - Tofas (30-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Adanaspor (5-28) in Bursa 119-67. Tofas dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Adanaspor's 38. Tofas forced 24 Adanaspor turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Adanaspor's players. Forward Berkan Durmaz (205-97) nailed 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winning side and power forward Muhsin Yasar (205-95) accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Tofas players scored in double figures. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV) came up with 20 points and forward Hakan Uskuplu (200-83) added 15 points respectively for Adanaspor in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tofas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 30-3 record. Adanaspor lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. Tofas will play against Denizli (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Adanaspor will play against Afyon (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
