Dynamo Kursk fired past Sparta&K to take 2-0 lead in the consolation final series. Dynamo Kursk made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Spartak Vidnoye turnovers. Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) stepped up and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) for the winners and the former international center Anastasia Logunova (192-90, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Dynamo Kursk players scored in double figures. At the losing side international center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-91, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
