Leader Anadolu Efes delivered the twenty second victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Usak Sportlif (15-13) 71-65 in Istanbul. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Usak Sportlif. Usak Sportlif was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 20-11 charge of Anadolu Efes, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Cedi Osman (204-95) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 8 rebounds. Uruguayan-Italian point guard Jayson Granger (188-89) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Anadolu Efes' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Andre Harris (201-85, college: Fair Dickinson) replied with 21 points and his fellow American import swingman Paul Harris (193-86, college: Syracuse) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Usak Sportlif. Anadolu Efes maintains first position with 22-6 record. Usak Sportlif at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 13 games lost. Anadolu Efes will play against TED Kolejliler (#14) in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Usak Sportlif will play at home against Royal Hali (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
