There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked TED Kolejliler (9-19) defeated on the road 11th ranked Trabzonspor (11-16) 79-63 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. TED Kolejliler dominated on the defensive end, holding Trabzonspor to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Croatian guard Marko Tomas (201-85) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. U.S. Virgin Islands-Guyanese center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. TED Kolejliler's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
