Quarter-Finals Round 1: Marso NYKK - MAFC 87-85

The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-15. But MAFC won second period 32-30. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Slovenian point guard Brane Savic (180-79) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American guard Rashad Anderson (196-83, college: Connecticut, agency: KBA Omnia Europe) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for MAFC. Four Marso NYKK and five MAFC players scored in double figures.
