Quarter-Finals Round 2: Kaposvari - Alba 84-87

Alba upset Kaposvari on the road to secure the second straight victory. It looked good early as Kaposvari took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Alba had a 25-20 second period charge getting the lead and Kaposvari was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-87. They outrebounded Kaposvari 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Alba players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 31 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and Bosnian center Ermin Jazvin (209-80, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures.
