Finals Game 3: TEMP-SUMZ - Sakhalin 80-79

TEMP-SUMZ got away with a narrow home win over Sakhalin to register the opening victory in Superleague 1 Finals. TEMP-SUMZ Revda made 28-of-32 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game, while Sakhalin only scored seven points from the stripe. TEMP-SUMZ Revda forced 19 Sakhalin turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by Sakhalin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for naturalized Uzbekistani center Sergey Karaulov (212-82) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Anton Glazunov (181-86) contributed with 28 points, 5 assists and 8 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. International Aleksandr Gudumak (203-93, agency: Alti Sport) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and Artem Komolov (194-93) added 19 points in the effort for Sakhalin. Sakhalin's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
