Quarter-Finals Round 2: Marso NYKK - MAFC 81-98

The game was mostly controlled by MAFC. Marso NYKK was better in third quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MAFC dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Marso NYKK's 36. It was a great shooting night for MAFC especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) who scored 28 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The other American import guard Rashad Anderson (196-83, college: Connecticut, agency: KBA Omnia Europe) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82, agency: HMS) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Slovenian point guard Brane Savic (180-79) added 10 points and 10 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Marso NYKK players scored in double figures.
