Regular Season Round 30: Fener.Ulker - Usak 98-67

Date: May 7, 2016
No shocking result in a game in Istanbul where second ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (24-6) outleveled 7th ranked Usak Sportlif (16-14) 98-67. The game without a history. Fenerbahce Ulker led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Fenerbahce Ulker outrebounded Usak Sportlif 33-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 68.2 percentage. Fenerbahce Ulker players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) notched 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Greek guard Konstantinos Sloukas (197-90) supported him with 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) by American swingman Paul Harris (193-86, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Usak Sportlif. Lithuanian power forward Evaldas Kairys (207-90) added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fenerbahce Ulker have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Usak Sportlif at the other side keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost.
