The game in Balikesir supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Acibadem (25-9) played at the court of 6th ranked Balikesir (19-15). Acibadem smashed Balikesir 104-82. The game was mostly controlled by Acibadem. Balikesir was better in second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Acibadem dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Balikesir's 30. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Balikesir's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-96) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. American point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) replied with 18 points and power forward Okan Bostanci (206-88) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Balikesir. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Acibadem maintains second position with 25-9 record having six points less than leader Tofas. Balikesir at the other side keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost.
