There was no surprise in Gaziantep where 14th ranked TED Kolejliler (9-21) was defeated by eighth ranked Royal Hali (15-15) 90-80. The game was mostly controlled by Royal Hali. TED Kolejliler was better in third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Royal Hali made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Royal Hali especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. TED Kolejliler was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) notched 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Julyan Stone (198-88, college: UTEP) supported him with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Five Royal Hali players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds by U.S. Virgin Islands-Guyanese center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) did not help to save the game for TED Kolejliler. Guard Erolcan Cinko (188-90, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Royal Hali maintains eighth position with 15-15 record, which they share with Besiktas. TED Kolejliler at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with 21 games lost.
