Second Stage Round 1: Mega Leks - Konstantin 93-63

Mega Leks smashed Konstantin in Sremska Mitrovica 93-63. The game was mostly controlled by Mega Leks. Konstantin was better in fourth quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mega Leks forced 20 Konstantin turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Mega Leks brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Rade Zagorac (205-95, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Croatian center Ivica Zubac (212-97) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Four Mega Leks players scored in double figures. Forward Danilo Tasic (207-93) answered with 8 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Nemanja Gudzic (195-90) added 11 points in the effort for Konstantin. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Konstantin will play next round against strong Borac trying to get back on the winning streak. Mega Leks will try to continue on its current victory against Partizan at Beograd.
