Very expected game when 13th ranked Istanbul BSB (10-20) was defeated at home by third ranked Galatasaray (22-8) 79-67. Istanbul BSB was ahead by 10 points at the halftime before a 47-25 second half run of Galatasaray. Galatasaray had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) notched 15 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Serbian forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, agency: Beo Basket) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Galatasaray's coach Ergin Ataman allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds by forward Deniz Kilicli (206-90, college: W.Virginia) did not help to save the game for Istanbul BSB. Ugur Dokuyan (197-93, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 6 rebounds. Galatasaray have a solid four-game winning streak.
