Quarter-Finals Round 3: Kormend - ZTE KK 92-69

Kormend fired past ZTE KK to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The game without a history. Kormend led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 28 and made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded ZTE KK 38-19 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Cole Dickerson (201-91, college: USF) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St., agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 14 points and 5 assists and Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (202-89) added 16 points respectively. Five Kormend and four ZTE KK players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
