Semi-Finals Game 1: Alba - Atomeromu 99-77

Alba cruised past Atomeromu to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 34. Alba had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Atomeromu's players. The former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
