Semi-Finals Game 1: Szolnok - Kormend 77-86

Kormend upset Szolnok away from home in the opener. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 27-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Szolnok outrebounded Kormend 43-30 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dutch-Australian power forward Josh Duinker (209-89, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and international power forward Akos Keller (208-89) added 7 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Szolnok.
