The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. Kormend managed to win fourth quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu shot 18 for 27 from the free-throw line, while Kormend only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded Kormend 36-19 including a 24-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Atomeromu shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Kormend's players. American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Akos Kovacs (183-88) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Dutch-Australian power forward Josh Duinker (209-89, college: Richmond) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kormend.
