Finals Game 2: Alba - Szolnok 91-66

Date: June 4, 2016
Alba fired past Szolnok to even the championship series at 1-1. The game was mostly controlled by Alba. Szolnok was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Szolnok 48-29 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Szolnok was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Ryan Pearson (198-90, college: George Mason, agency: Inception Sports) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and international power forward Akos Keller (208-89) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
