Finals Game 3: Szolnok - Alba 91-85

Szolnok topped Alba to take 2-1 lead in the Finals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alba won third quarter 28-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Alba helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 assists. Naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Szolnok players scored in double figures. The former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 30 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) added 17 points and 6 assists in the effort for Alba. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
