Regular Season Round 2: Phoenix Galati - Targu Mures 80-78

A very interesting game took place in Galati. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Targu Mures (0-2) to Phoenix Galati (1-1) 80-78 on Friday evening. Targu Mures were ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 44-38 second half run of Phoenix Galati. They also forced 26 Targu Mures turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Targu Mures helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian swingman Milos Bojovic (198-81, agency: 011 Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 5 assists. Five Phoenix Galati and four Targu Mures players scored in double figures. Targu Mures' coach Barnabas Szaszgaspar rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Phoenix Galati's next round opponent will be Olimpic (#10) in Baia Mare where they are favorite. Targu Mures will play at home against UBT Cluj Napoca and hope to win that game.
