Regular Season Round 1: Halle - Donau-Ries 67-66

A very close game took place in Halle between SV Halle Lions and TH Wohnbau Angels. SV Halle Lions (1-0) got a very close home victory over TH Wohnbau Angels (0-1). SV Halle Lions managed to escape with a 1-point win 67-66 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. SV Halle Lions dominated on the defensive end, holding TH Wohnbau Angels to just 5 points in third quarter. SV Halle Lions forced 20 TH Wohnbau Angels turnovers.
