Very expected game when Koeln Rh.Stars (0-2) were defeated on the road by Kirchheim Knights (2-0) 88-72 on Saturday. Kirchheim Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Koeln Rh.Stars' 40. Kirchheim Knights forced 23 Koeln Rh.Stars turnovers. Koeln Rh.Stars' coach Arne Woltmann rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Kirchheim Knights will face ETB Wohnbau (#15) in Essen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Koeln Rh.Stars will play at home against Hamburg and hope to win that game.
