Regular Season Round 2: Oldenburg - Art.Dragons 87-80

The biggest surprise of round 2 in ProB took place in Oldenburg where host Oldenburg (2-0) beat Artland Dragons (1-1) 87-80 on Saturday evening. Oldenburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Philip Zwiener (201-85) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Haris Hujic (193-97) chipped in 20 points and 9 assists. Forward Benjamin Fumey (203-87, college: Valparaiso) produced 29 points and forward Max Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Artland Dragons will play next round against strong AstroStars trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Oldenburg will try to continue on its current victory against Iserlohn on the road.
