The game in Hanau was also quite interesting. Mitteldeutscher BC (3-0) played at the court of White Wings (1-2). Mitteldeutscher BC managed to secure a 6-point victory 79-73 on Monday. It was a great evening for naturalized American forward Sergio Kerusch (195-89, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Naturalized Afghani point guard Achmadschah Zazai (175-86, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 13 points and 5 assists. Five Mitteldeutscher BC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (190-92) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Mitteldeutscher BC will meet Hamburg (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. White Wings will play against Koeln Rh.Stars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
