Regular Season Round 3: Dresden - Uni Baskets 125-130

Rather expected game in Dresden where Titans (0-3) were defeated by Uni Baskets (2-1) 130-125 on Monday. Uni Baskets made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Titans turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Titans were plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Till Gloger (203-93, college: Maine) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). American guard Matt Vest (196-92, college: Wright St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard R.J. Price (180-93, college: Radford) who recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the other American import power forward Jervon Pressley (203-95, college: Hampton) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Uni Baskets will face Chemnitz (#5) on the road in the next round. Titans will play against Ehingen/Urspringschule (#15) in Allmendingen and look forward to get finally their first victory.
