Suzirja (1-1) crushed at home DVUFK (0-4) by 33 points 71-38, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game without a history. Suzirja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding DVUFK to just 4 points in second quarter. Suzirja held DVUFK to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Suzirja forced 19 DVUFK turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) who scored 16 points. Guard Elena Bondar (165-91) chipped in 16 points. Power forward Daryna Dubrovska (190-99) produced 6 points and 11 rebounds and center Mariia Semenichenko (190-0) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suzirja will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. DVUFK will play against Interkhim (#1) in Odessa and hope to win that game.
