Very important is a home loss of Ezerunas-Karys (1-1) against Suduva-Mantinga (1-1) on Saturday night. Host Ezerunas-Karys was crushed by Suduva-Mantinga in Moletai 95-71. The game without a history. Suduva-Mantinga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Suduva-Mantinga looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Dominykas Domarkas (190-92) who scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Evaldas Saulys (190-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Four Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Pranas Skurdauskas (208-88, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Ezerunas-Karys' coach Paulius Barkus already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Suduva-Mantinga will meet Delikatesas (#8) in the next round. Ezerunas-Karys will play against KTU (#9) in Kaunas and hope to win that game.
