Regular Season Round 3: Braunschweig - Osnabruecker TB 38-48

Everything went according to plan when Osnabruecker (2-1) defeated on the road Braunschweig (0-3) 48-38. Osnabruecker dominated on the defensive end, holding Braunschweig to just 2 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Osnabruecker held Braunschweig to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Osnabruecker forced 20 Braunschweig turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Elizabeth Belanger (178-94, college: New Hampshire) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds.
