Darussafaka used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Bursa 83-75. Darussafaka outrebounded Tofas 41-25 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Tofas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. French Adrien Moerman (202-88) nailed 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Will Clyburn (201-90, college: Iowa St.) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 21 points and 4 assists and the former international point guard Baris Ermis (194-85) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for Tofas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tofas' coach Orhun Ene rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Darussafaka's next round opponent will be Banvit in Balikesir and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tofas will play at home against Galatasaray (#6) and hope to win that game.
