The game in Kedainiai was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Juventus (2-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Nevezis (3-3). Nevezis defeated Juventus 88-74 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nevezis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Juventus' players. The best player for the winners was Croatia guard Toni Prostran (182-91) who scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists. Forward Paulius Petrilevicius (200-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Vaidas Cepukaitis (207-89, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian guard Aaron Best (193-92, college: Ryerson) added 16 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nevezis moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vytautas and P.Zvaigzdes. Loser Juventus dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Nevezis will face P.Zvaigzdes (#5) in Pasvalys in the next round. Juventus will play on the road against Neptunas in Klaipeda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
