Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Gruner Stern Keltern and 9th ranked ChemCats Chemnitz had identical 1-2 record. The winners were led by American guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 assists and Serbian Marina Markovic (185-91) supported her with 10 points and 4 steals. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Merritt Hempe (190-94, college: Georgia) did not help to save the game for ChemCats Chemnitz. French guard Margot Vidal-Geneve (165-95) added 9 points for lost side.
