Regular Season Round 5: Kryvbas - Kremen 92-60

Date: October 14, 2016
The game with biggest result difference took place in Kryvyi Rih. Local Kryvbas (3-2) outscored 9th ranked Kremen (1-3) 92-60 on Friday night. The game without a history. Kryvbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kryvbas forced 26 Kremen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kremen's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Igor Boyarkin (182-95) who scored 21 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Dmitri Lipovtsev (203-86) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Kristian Luhovtsov (197-94) produced 14 points and the former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kryvbas maintains fourth place with 3-2 record, which they share with Mykolaiv. Kremen lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with three games lost. Kryvbas will face bottom-ranked Avantazh-Polit. (#11) in Kharkiv in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kremen will play on the road against Mykolaiv in Mykolaiv and hope to win that game.
