Regular Season Round 4: Dinamo B. - Targu Mures 83-92

Targu Mures' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Bucuresti, where they defeated CS Dinamo Bucuresti (0-3) 92-83. It looked good early as CS Dinamo Bucuresti took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Targu Mures had a 24-13 second period charge getting the lead and CS Dinamo Bucuresti was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-92. Targu Mures made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. CS Dinamo Bucuresti was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (187-87) who added 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest. At the losing side Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-93, agency: 011 Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Joe Thomasson (193-93, college: Wright St.) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Four Targu Mures and five CS Dinamo Bucuresti players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Targu Mures (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was CS Dinamo Bucuresti's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Olimpic. Targu Mures will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play on the road against Olimpic (#11) in Baia Mare and hopes to get finally their first victory.
