Regular Season Round 2: Tajfun - KK Primorska 75-86

There was no surprise in Sentjur where Tajfun (0-2) was defeated by Lastovka (2-0) 86-75 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Lastovka. Tajfun managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Lastovka forced 24 Tajfun turnovers. Bosnian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Georgia guard Duda Sanadze (196-92, college: San Diego) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Lastovka players scored in double figures. Lastovka's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Khaliq Spicer (206-94, college: Kent St., agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-91, agency: AproK Sports Group) scored 13 points and 9 assists. Lastovka will meet at home Rogaska (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tajfun will play against Zlatorog in Lasko and hope to win that game.
