Regular Season Round 1: Sanjoanense - Esgueira 49-60

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Sanjoanense (0-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Esgueira / Oli (1-0) 60-49. The game was mostly controlled by Esgueira / Oli. Sanjoanense managed to win fourth quarter 14-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sanjoanense to just 6 points in third quarter. Esgueira / Oli forced 22 Sanjoanense turnovers.
